1. Practice content stays on your device
Practice photos, edited images, generated PDFs, folders, review status, and device preferences are all stored in your device sandbox. We do not upload practice photos, PDFs, thumbnails, folder names, review status, typed text, file paths, or local database records to third-party analytics services.
Photo import uses Apple’s system photo picker. Camera access is used only when you choose to capture a practice item. App Store purchases are processed by Apple under its own policies.
2. Optional product analytics
Product analytics are off by default. The app initializes an analytics SDK or sends analytics events only after you choose “Help Improve the App.” Declining does not affect core features, including capture, organization, PDF creation, printing, sharing, trial, or purchase. You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Help Improve the App.
If you choose “Help Improve the App,” we may collect a randomly generated analytics identifier and session identifier, app/build version, major iOS version, device category (phone or tablet), app language, and controlled categories of feature interaction and processing outcomes, such as camera or photo-library entry, image-output mode, PDF paper size, coarse item/page/time ranges, review-action categories, and purchase-flow result categories.
We do not send exact item counts, raw duration, user-generated content, raw error messages, or stable IDs for folders, practice items, or PDFs as custom analytics-event fields. Provider SDKs may process device or network-connection information, such as IP address and device information; the precise handling depends on the integrated SDK version, provider configuration, and provider privacy policy.
3. Analytics provider
After you opt in, the app uses Google Analytics for Firebase for product analytics. The same provider applies regardless of your App Store storefront region or the app display language.
We use analytics only to improve the product. We do not enable advertising features, Google Signals, advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, or advertising data sharing, and we do not request App Tracking Transparency permission for this purpose.
4. Purpose of use
We use controlled analytics data only with your explicit consent to measure app reliability and improve product flows, such as whether users can save a practice item, create a PDF, use printing or sharing, return to study, or encounter a categorized processing failure. We do not use this data to assess a person’s learning ability, make automated decisions about them, change their price, or limit features.
5. Choices, deletion, and retention
You can decline analytics on the first-choice screen or turn it off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Help Improve the App. When you turn it off, the app stops future analytics collection and transmission and deletes its locally queued analytics events and local random analytics identifier. It will not create a new identifier unless you opt in again. Locally queued analytics events are limited to 100 events or 7 days, whichever happens first.
Turning analytics off cannot retroactively erase data already received by a provider. Provider-side data is retained and handled under each provider’s applicable privacy policy and our account configuration. For related questions, contact us at the support email on this page.
6. International processing
Depending on your region and the selected provider, opted-in analytics information may be processed where the provider’s servers are located, including outside your country or region.
7. Children
This app does not knowingly collect personal information from children through product analytics. Do not enable optional analytics for a child unless you have the authority required by applicable law.
8. Updates and contact
If the categories of analytics data, their purpose, service providers, or tracking practices change materially, we will update this policy before making the change. If you have any questions about this policy or your privacy choices, please contact penyuong@gmail.com.
